Composer and multi-instrumentalist Daniel Cossu is known for his great ability to translate emotions into music. His lifelong passion for cinema and deep knowledge of drama and film lends itself perfectly to the art of composing music for picture. He enjoys working on compelling, character-driven dramas and thrillers, where his music can serve as the secret sauce, pushing the plot forward and enhancing the dramatic narrative.

Daniel studied film scoring, orchestration and conducting at UCLA, and since 2000 he has headed trailer music house Cinetrax as composer and creative director providing music for hundreds of film campaigns such as It, Alien: Covenant, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Split, Inception, The Babadook, The Last Days in the Desert, Oz: The Great and Powerful, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Pacific Rim, The Town, Pirates of the Carribean: At Stranger Tides, Fast Five, Madagascar 1, 2 & 3, Tron: Legacy, Spider-Man 2 & 3, X-Men: The Last Stand, Pan’s Labyrinth, Transformers, Shutter Island, 3:10 to Yuma, Snakes on a Plane, and many more.
